GSD Planner
GSD agent that breaks a feature or phase into a structured plan. Analyses dependencies, estimates risks, and produces a PLAN.md with atomic tasks, success criteria, and must-haves. The entry point for all new work in the GSD workflow. Bundled with gsd-pi (standalone) and gsd-plugin (marketplace).
Strengths

Limitations
- Plans sometimes too exhaustive for micro-tasks, excessive overhead for simple fixes
- Requires well-documented project context to produce relevant plans
Best for
- Complex multi-file features requiring coordination between multiple agents
- Migrations and refactors that impact the overall architecture
- Long Claude Code sessions where an explicit plan prevents context drift
