/remote-control
Continue a local Claude Code session from any device, phone, tablet, or browser. `/remote-control` (alias `/rc`) generates a link to join the active session from a web interface. The session stays on your local machine, you access it remotely. Combine with Headless Mode for display-less sessions.
Strengths
- Perfect continuity, same session, same context, from any device
- Zero client setup, just a link to open in the browser of the second device
- Local session preserved, your machine does the work, your phone serves as a remote terminal
Limitations
- Depends on your local machine, if it shuts down or loses network, the session stops
- Limited mobile experience, complex code input difficult on a touch screen
Best for
- Monitoring a long-running agent from your phone without staying at your computer
- Continuing a session from a tablet while traveling without access to the main terminal
