Agent Experience Design (AXD)
A way of designing that starts from what you delegate to an agent rather than what the user clicks: you draw a system of delegated tasks, not a screen journey. For Yeho (a designer, 2026 reel), who argues this split, AXD is a branch of user experience design and does not replace it: the experience still shapes the relationship between humans and digital products.
Strengths
- Moves the question from the screen to the delegated task: what you hand over, to whom, and how you check the result
- Keeps UX standing: the source insists user experience stays central to the human relationship with products
Limitations
- No settled definition: guides contradict each other on who the user is, the human or the agent
- The original source is thin (four carousel slides and a caption), read it as a stance
Best for
- Product designer or PM facing features where the agent acts in place of the user and wondering what is left to design
