Formule XYZ : écrire une expérience comme un résultat

A way of writing each line of a resume as "accomplished X, as measured by Y, by doing Z". **X** is the outcome you produced, not the task you were handed. **Y** is the number that proves it: a percentage, a lead time, a volume, against a starting point. **Z** is what you did to get there. For instance, "in charge of onboarding" becomes "raised first-week activation from 30% to 45% by rewriting the first three screens". Laszlo Bock, then head of people operations at Google, popularised the formula in a 2014 LinkedIn article. It is back in the prompts that hand resume rewriting to an AI: Cindy Zhu makes it the rewriting step of the agent chains she shares in two videos, one that diagnoses and rewrites a resume, another that tailors it to each job posting.
