A maintenance pattern for a skill library, in five ordered moves. First measure what each skill costs in context and how often it is used. Then spot duplicates and descriptions that run past the reading limit. Before touching anything, check that nothing depends on the targeted skill. Disable rather than delete, long enough to see whether it is missed. Finally rewrite the description of the ones that stay, main use case first. The last check before deletion is the one people skip, and it is the one that keeps you from breaking a routine that called the skill by hand.
