Azure Skills
Microsoft's official agent plugin for Azure. It ships three layers in one install: skills that teach your agent how an Azure deployment is prepared, validated and diagnosed, the Azure MCP server (200+ tools across 40+ services) and an MCP server for Microsoft Foundry. It plugs into Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Codex and Gemini CLI.

Limitations
- Azure only: no value if you deploy elsewhere
- Heavy prerequisites: an Azure subscription, Node 18 or later, a signed-in Azure CLI and azd for deployments
- The agent acts on billed resources: a scope mistake costs money
Best for
- Product team whose technical base is already on Azure and wants a coding agent that knows its guardrails
