BuildPartner (plugin Claude Code)
A Claude Code plugin under the MIT licence, published by Austin Marchese and tied to his buildpartner.ai service. It ships four skills: `build` (guided build walkthroughs), `expert-advice` (framework-based answers on pricing, product, marketing), `improve-system` and `open-dashboard`. `improve-system` is the one that made it known: a pass the author runs twice a week, which rereads your conversation history, tells you what you do wrong, which skills to create and what context Claude lacks, then flags the daily tasks that could become automations. The video calls it `/improve-system`; the repository documentation names it `/buildpartner:improve-system`. Install: `claude plugin marketplace add austinmarchese/buildpartner-plugin`, then `claude plugin install buildpartner@buildpartner`.
Strengths
- Starts from your real sessions, not from an idea of a skill: what it suggests answers what you actually redo
- Three useful outputs at once: your recurring mistakes, the skills to create, the context Claude lacks
- MIT licence and public repository: the code can be read before installing
Limitations
- It reads your entire history, secrets pasted into conversations included, and it is tied to an account and a dashboard
- Free in the video, but the service page announces five credits and then a monthly subscription: it is unclear what `improve-system` consumes
- Content-creator source: the video is a funnel into a product, its claims are not measurements
Best for
- Someone who has worked with Claude Code every day for weeks and never reread their sessions
