Claude HUD
A Claude Code plugin (MIT licence) that shows, under your input box, what is happening in the session: how full the context window is, which tools are running, which agents were launched and how far the task list has got. It sits on Claude Code's native status line, so there is nothing to open alongside it, no second terminal and no monitoring window.
Strengths

Limitations
- Shows the present moment, not the history: to see where your tokens went, you need a tool that reads the logs
- Replaces a custom status line if you already had one
Best for
- A designer or PM running long sessions who wants to see context saturation coming
- Someone delegating to subagents who wants to know which ones are still running
