Brand Guidelines
Official Anthropic skill that applies a brand (colours, typography) to any deliverable Claude produces. As published, it applies Anthropic's own brand: near-black #141413, cream #faf9f5, orange #d97757, Poppins headings, Lora body text. It is therefore a template: you copy it, replace colours, fonts and rules with yours, and every session starts from your brand instead of asking for it again.
Strengths
- Eliminates repetition of brand instructions in every prompt
- Maintains visual consistency even across long or multi-agent sessions
- Reduces drift between components created at different times
Limitations
- Ships with Anthropic's brand: unless you copy and fill it, your deliverables take its colours and fonts
- Requires an initial investment to document guidelines in the expected format
- Less useful on projects without a defined design system
Best for
- Product teams with an existing design system (tokens, typography, components)
- Freelancers managing multiple client brands wanting to isolate contexts
- Projects where visual consistency is critical (landing pages, public design systems)
