scroll-world
A SKILL.md skill that assembles a scroll-driven landing page where the camera flies from scene to scene with no visible cut. It interviews you on brand, message and scene order, generates the stills then the connector shots between neighbouring scenes, and ships a portable JavaScript engine mapping scroll position onto video playback time. Install through the Claude Code plugin marketplace, or through the skills command for Codex and other agents. MIT licensed.
Strengths
- Connector shots are generated from the actual frames of both neighbouring scenes, so the transition is invisible
- Pre-rendered video rather than real-time 3D, so the reader-side cost stays that of an ordinary video page
- The scrub engine is portable JavaScript, independent from the generation chain that produced it
- MIT licensed, one-command install from Claude Code or Codex
Limitations
- Every iteration is paid in video generation credits, so cost scales with attempts rather than with projects
- Depends on third-party generation services for stills and shots, so the chain breaks if one shuts down
- The final render is video, so nothing written inside it is read by a search engine or a screen reader
Best for
- A launch page where first impression matters more than search ranking
- Proving a visual direction to a client before committing a studio
- A designer who wants the scroll-through genre without going through 3D modelling
