Theme Factory
A skill Anthropic publishes in its official skills repository. It dresses a deliverable (slide deck, document, report, HTML landing page) in a consistent theme: a font pairing and a colour palette chosen together. Ten themes ship with it (Ocean Depths, Sunset Boulevard, Forest Canopy, Modern Minimalist, Golden Hour, Arctic Frost, Desert Rose, Tech Innovation, Botanical Garden, Midnight Galaxy), and it can build a new one on request when none fits the subject.
Strengths
- A font and palette decision made in one command, instead of three rounds of back and forth
- Works across formats: slides, documents, reports and HTML pages keep the same outfit
- Generates a custom theme when the ten provided do not fit
Limitations
- Preset themes are easy to spot: on a branded deliverable, they look generic
- The 'npx claude skills add theme-factory' command circulating in carousels does not exist: it is `npx skills add` with the Anthropic repository address
Best for
- A PM or founder who has to present a report or a demo with no designer at hand
- A prototype whose identity is not settled yet
- An internal report or training deck that just needs to be readable and consistent from first page to last
