Can I Vibecode It?
A public board asking one question of more than a thousand paid apps: can an AI build you a replacement today, or is the subscription still worth it? Each app gets a three-level verdict (yes, kinda, not really), a ranking puts first the ones most visitors say they already replaced, with meeting-notes and dictation tools at the top, and a section describes what protects software from being copied. The site was launched by Rob Hallam, an independent product maker.
Strengths
- One readable verdict per app, with no account and nothing to install
- The ranking of already replaced apps shows where teams actually make the switch
Limitations
- The verdict measures feasibility, not the maintenance, security and support cost of a home-made tool
- Rankings rest on what visitors report, not on a measurement
Best for
- Preparing a budget review of the team's software subscriptions
- Finding a first prototype idea to build yourself
