Claude Squad
A terminal app (AGPL-3.0 licence) that manages several coding agents in parallel: Claude Code, Codex, Gemini or Aider. Each task gets its own tmux session and its own git branch (a worktree), so agents do not step on each other. You follow every session in one window, review changes before applying them, then push them.
Strengths
- One git branch and one tmux session per task: agents do not contradict each other in the same files
- One window to follow every session, with a preview of changes before they are applied
- Not limited to Claude Code: Codex, Gemini and Aider launch with the `-p` option
Limitations
- Every parallel agent burns your usage limit: the time saved is paid in quota
- You remain the only reviewer: merging several branches is the real bottleneck, not production
- Needs tmux and the GitHub CLI, and an AGPL-3.0 licence to read before any use inside a product
Best for
- A developer comfortable with git who has several independent tasks (a feature, a fix, tests) to move forward the same afternoon
- Anyone who has tried worktrees by hand and wants a dashboard rather than scattered windows
