Flowsint
An investigation tool that starts from one element (a domain, a handle, an address) and unfolds a graph of linked entities: IP addresses, emails, accounts found elsewhere. Everything runs on your side through Docker, with a bundled graph database. The project describes itself as early stage, and some enrichers query third-party services whose free tiers are limited.
Strengths
- Analysed data stays on your machine, without transiting a third-party service
- Graph view that makes links readable where a spreadsheet drowns them
- One Docker command to install, with no entry fee against a competitor at several thousand a year
Limitations
- Early stage by the project own admission, not for critical use
- Insecure defaults: secrets and filtering to harden before any network exposure
- Real value comes from the enrichers, some of which depend on limited or paid third-party services
Best for
- Mapping the public footprint of a domain before an audit or due diligence
- Understanding what a graph investigation looks like without committing an annual budget
