Granola
An AI notepad for days of back-to-back meetings. Granola listens to your computer audio during the call, on Zoom, Google Meet, Teams or any other app, and turns the notes you jot down into a summary with the follow-up actions. No bot joins the meeting. Connectors then expose that history to Claude, Cursor, Figma, Replit or v0, so a product requirements document can be drafted from calls already held. **Recipes** are reusable prompts you rerun on any note or folder: a follow-up email, the list of decisions and their reasons, feedback on how you ran an interview. Integrations push notes to Notion, Slack, HubSpot or Zapier, and an Apple Watch app captures an idea by voice outside meetings. Available on macOS, Windows, iOS and Android.
Strengths
- No bot in the meeting: you listen, the tool takes notes from your computer audio
- Works with every video call app, not just Zoom or Meet
- Connectors make the meeting history readable by Claude, Cursor, Figma, Replit or v0: product framing starts from what was said on the call, not from a blank page
- Recipes turn a one-off analysis into a repeated move: the same question asked after every call, without rewriting it
Limitations
- Nobody can see the meeting is being transcribed: consent rests entirely on you
- The free plan does not keep access to notes older than 30 days
- The MCP server works on the free plan, but over 30 days of notes and without transcripts or folders, which are paid only
Best for
- PMs and POs running back-to-back calls who need to leave with written decisions and actions
- Designers in user interviews who want to watch the person rather than their keyboard
