Spots files, dependencies and exports nothing calls anymore in a JavaScript or TypeScript project. Useful after an agent session that added without ever removing. ISC licence.
Strengths
- Covers three things at once: unused files, dependencies and exports
- A setup assistant (npm init @knip/config) reads your project and proposes the setup
Limitations
- JavaScript and TypeScript only: nothing for a Python or Go repo
- The first pass on a large repo surfaces many findings: triage before enabling blocking

- A TypeScript project where an agent regularly writes code
