Lefthook
Declares the checks to run on commit or push in a lefthook.yml file and runs them in parallel. Independent of the project language. MIT licence.
Strengths
- A lefthook.yml versioned with the repo, so the same for the whole team
- Parallel execution (parallel: true): four checks do not cost four times the time
Limitations
- Everyone must run lefthook install once after cloning
- A smaller tutorial ecosystem than some alternatives
Best for
- A repo mixing several languages, or wanting parallel checks
