OriginKit
Free library of 50 animated components (electric borders, vaporizing text, tunnel galleries) for React, Next.js, Vite and Framer. It exposes a hosted MCP server: your agent fetches the component itself and renders it in your stack.
Strengths
- Hosted MCP, no local install: four tools (list, search, fetch, detail) that Claude Code, Cursor, Antigravity, Windsurf, Lovable or Bolt query directly
- The component comes out already adapted to your target (React, Next.js, Vite, Framer) and your styling (CSS, Tailwind, CSS Modules), not a block to reconvert by hand
- Every component ships documented props with defaults, so the agent knows what to tweak instead of rewriting the animation from scratch
Limitations
- Account and API key required to retrieve the code: Uiverse hands you the CSS asking nothing, here you trade your email for an animated button
- Openly in beta and a narrow catalog (50 components, all decorative): no forms, no tables, no navigation. It is an effects shelf, not an interface library
- Not open source, unlike Uiverse (MIT): you depend on a hosted service that can shut down, change pricing or pull a component you shipped to production
Best for
- Designer or PM vibe coding a landing page who wants a precise effect, not the approximation the model invents
- Framer prototype where the component drops onto the canvas and is tuned from the properties panel
