skills.sh
The open Agent Skills directory, maintained by Vercel. You look up a reusable capability (generate a PDF, scrape a site, follow React best practices) and add it to your agent in one command: npx skills add owner/repo. A leaderboard by installs (trending, hot, all-time), a first-party official section (Anthropic, Vercel, Microsoft), topics (React, design, databases, testing) and security audits from partners (Socket, Snyk). Multi-agent: Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, Gemini, Windsurf.
Strengths
- One-command install (npx skills add) into Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, Gemini and more
- First-party official section (Anthropic, Vercel, Microsoft) that separates signal from noise
- Visible security audits (Socket, Snyk, partners) with pass/warn/fail status per skill
- Install leaderboard and topic search to quickly spot what is emerging
Limitations
- The install counter can be gamed and says nothing about the skill's real quality
- Supply-chain risk: an installed skill runs in your context with your permissions
- The JSON API requires a Vercel OIDC token, so no anonymous automated discovery
Best for
- Finding an existing skill before writing one yourself
- Tracking what is emerging in the AI agent ecosystem (Claude Code first)
- Comparing several skills for the same capability with adoption proof and security audit
