The open Agent Skills directory, maintained by Vercel. You look up a reusable capability (generate a PDF, scrape a site, follow React best practices) and add it to your agent in one command: npx skills add owner/repo. A leaderboard by installs (trending, hot, all-time), a first-party official section (Anthropic, Vercel, Microsoft), topics (React, design, databases, testing) and security audits from partners (Socket, Snyk). Multi-agent: Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, Gemini, Windsurf.
Strengths

- Visible security audits (Socket, Snyk, partners) with pass/warn/fail status per skill
- Install leaderboard and topic search to quickly spot what is emerging
Limitations
- The install counter can be gamed and says nothing about the skill's real quality. Snapshot of 15 September 2026: Microsoft's Azure skills, unrelated to one another, showed counters within 5% of each other, and 8 video skills from one publisher within 2%. Near-identical counters mean the whole repository install is being counted, not the use of one skill
- A well-known name does not tell you who publishes. Snapshot of 24 September 2026: the 101-skills/superpowers repository, created on 31 August with 4 stars, showed more than 420,000 installs for its ai-video-generation skill. It is not obra's Superpowers: its README is titled "inference.sh skills", and at least five other repositories named superpowers carry the same skill. Check the owner and the age of the repository before the counter
